Prayer
Jesus Is Coming Soon, Are You Ready? Be Prepare To Meet God Today.
Welcome to the Prayer section.
As we offer our petition, let us remember to pray sincerely to God. We can offer different types of prayer each day.
Secret prayer: When we go into our closet or somewhere quiet and spend time alone with God, as Jesus, Jacob, and Daniel did, to name a few.
Prayer of faith: Express our simple, direct wants or needs of our soul, as a child would to a parent.
Moment-moment prayer: Like Enoch, each day, anywhere, while engaging in your daily work and ordinary work.
Family prayer: Gather the whole family in your home each day for worship, giving thanks and offering petitions for protection and guidance.
Intercessory prayer: Earnestly plead for the conversion of your specific friends, family members, neighbors, and enemies.
Below are the model prayer of Jesus and the prayer psalm by David that we can say while praying to God.
Jesus Model Prayer
After this manner, therefore pray ye:
''Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.''
A Prayer Psalms of David
Psalms 23:1-6
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Amen
A Prayer ending Psalm by David
Psalms 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength and my redeemer.
Amen
A Prayer Psalms Of David
Psalms 51:1-15
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Amen.
